About call sign tags
A call sign tag puts the name your squadron actually uses front and center: big on its own, after your rank and before your last name, or under your name. Same 2 x 4 in engraved leatherette and hook-and-loop back as our name tags.
- Air Force: since February 2026, call signs are authorized for daily wear on flight duty uniform name tags (DAFGM 2026-02, changing DAFI 36-2903 para 9.4.3.2). Officers: call sign, then last name. Enlisted: rank, call sign in quotes, then last name, like MSGT "BAT" MASTERSON. Pick "Rank, call sign, name" and leave rank empty for the officer style.
- Navy, Marines, Army and Coast Guard: call sign and morale tags are a squadron call. Check with your squadron before you wear one on the flight suit.
- No wings: pick "No wings" for a text-only morale tag, or wings from any branch.
